(F.C.E.I.) offers complete elevator and ADA accessibility consulting services, as well as elevator expert witness and litigation support within the State of Florida and Nationwide.  Our inspectors have over 25 years experience working with schools and universities, condominium associations, medical facilities, hotels, offices and all other types of public and private buildings.  It is our experience that professional elevator consulting saves property owners significantly in both time and financial resources, regardless of project size.  It is important to note that Florida Certified Elevator Inspections, Inc. does not market elevator products or provide for maintenance or installation of elevators, as we feel that this would create a conflict of interest.  We take extreme pride in our work and ethics and direct our expertise at providing our clients with an unbiased and honest service.  When providing elevator inspection, consulting and elevator maintenance / performance evaluation services, we work for you, not for an elevator maintenance company or contractor.  We work to protect your liability and your investment.  Although we are often highly recommended by elevator contractors and other industry professionals, we maintain an impartial and independent approach to all services we provide.  We are also an approved Continuing Education Provider for Florida Elevator Mechanics (CC) and nationally certified NAESA-QEI and EIWPF-QEI (Qualified Elevator Inspectors).

Our personnel have unparalleled experience over a broad area of elevator inspection, education, code compliance, manufacturing, design, installation and service.  Our knowledge and expertise is not only limited to the State of Florida.  Don't let our corporate name mislead you, we are licensed nationally and offer our consulting and expert witness services Nation-Wide.  While many states have their own employed inspectors, our skills are a continued necessity in areas concerning litigation support and accident review.  Each of our consultants and inspectors are NAESA-QEI Certified with a minimum of 25 years experience working within the elevator industry.  Our consultants are members of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers - One of our consultants serves on both the ASME A17 Elevator and Escalator Safety Code "Existing Elevator Committee" and the "Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Committee", NAESA (National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities International - one of our consultants / inspectors serving on the Board of Directors), NAVTP (National Association of Vertical Transportation Professionals) and the Elevator Association of Florida, where one of our consultants / inspectors serves on the Board of Directors and has been recently elected as the current President.  One of our consultants / inspectors has also been appointed to the eight member Florida Elevator Safety Technical Advisory Council (TAC) for a four year term, representing certified private elevator inspectors within the State of Florida.  

Our extensive library of code documentation dates back to 1921 and includes the current elevator and electrical codes in both hard and computerized formats.  This information is shared with many other inspectors and professionals both within and outside the State of Florida.  It is our commitment to share our vast knowledge base and educational resources to promote safety and accessibility awareness to the public and other industry professionals concerning the use of all elevator equipment. 

Continuing Education For:
Florida Elevator Mechanics, NAESA & EIWPF QEI Inspectors

We are approved by the State of Florida as a Continuing Education Course Provider for Florida Licensed Elevator Mechanics.  Our courses meet the 8 hour Florida Elevator Mechanic CC (Certificate of Competency) requirements as outlined by Florida Statute 399.  We are also approved by NAESA and the EIWPF as National Continuing Education Course Providers for the 8 hour continuing education requirement for Qualified Elevator Inspectors (QEI), which is the ASME nationally accepted standard and accreditation for elevator inspectors.  Feel free to contact our office by email, website form submission or by telephone for additional information.  Click the "Continuing Education Courses" link on the navigation bar for class schedules and enrollment information.
